“A candle of peace burning inside my soul”
Reporting to you live from Isle of Skye, feeling so aligned and at peace in my heart and soul from being surrounded and immersed in this breathtaking environment. I can’t help but feel already sad to leave it so soon.
It’s crazy, really, how a location can find a place in your heart so quickly.
I was talking to my best friend about how at peace I feel here and how I could easily see myself living here, atleast for part of the year. (I wouldn’t want to drive around in intense snow storms on these roads)
And she responded, “it’s a wonderful feeling. Hang onto it as long as you can.”
For some reason, that made me want to cry. In losing that connection that was established here, of connecting to that simple life that I so desperately crave sometimes.
How can I continue to protect that peace? It feels like a candle in my heart, and life can sometimes be windy.
How can I shield it, and have it continue to burn in my heart and soul?
My only response is to continue immersing myself in nature as it always brings comfort, and having that be my constant and my reminder that life and happiness is really all about the simple things in life.
With Love, Cindy
