Feathery light,
Uplifting,
Freeing,
A small part of me wanted to pull back,
To the familiar,
To the known,
But I let myself tumble,
Into the abyss,
Into the uncomfortable.
And I felt unshackled,
From my fear,
From an old version of myself,
That withered in that moment I let myself be free.
